CLOTHING DRIVE:  Please read the letter from Mrs. O'Donnell's Reading Group.
October 1, 2016
Dear Lower School Families:
We are reading a book called, The Hundred Dresses by Eleanor Estes. The main character of our story only has one dress to wear, because her family cannot afford to buy her another one.
Our reading group decided to collect new and gently used clothing to give to families in need. Please bring clothing for children and adults, bagged and tied. You can place the bags in the boxes marked “Hundred Dresses Clothing Collection” before October 31, 2016, and we will give them to families in need.
Thank you.

We are so delighted that Jan Schakowsky will be on campus talking to all of the students at Roycemore.  She will first talk to our First and Third Graders who are studying about the United States and our government.  I am sure there will be many questions especially by our third graders who have created a bill and passed it to enact it into law.  Plus they have participated in their own electoral college.  Then Congresswoman Schakowsky will speak to the entire student body from Kindergarten to our Seniors.
