STAND AGAINST RACISM FRIDAY! This is one of my favorite events with our students yelling "no more racism" and all the cars honking their approval!
See more photos at the bottom of the blog!
FOURTH GRADERS HEADING TO SPRINGFIELD THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. As a culmination experience of their study of Illinois history, the Fourth Graders will head to Springfield to see the Lincoln Museum, and his home, our State Capital, and New Salem, where Lincoln lived as a young man. There will be lots of learning and lots of fun!
ROYCEMORE SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER DINNER, SAT. MAY 13! The Gift of Education, Pass It On! This dinner is to celebrate the second century of quality college preparatory education. It is also to make this experience available to many families through our sliding scale tuition program. We hope all of you will come together in community and joy to recognize students who have benefited from this program. Please remember that your support, at every level, will make a difference for our students.

Please enjoy all the pictures: There are more at the end of the blog.
1. Students in Grs. 1-4 enjoying recess on a beautiful April day. At Roycemore our elementary students get a 45 minute recess plus gym every day. We believe kids need to move to learn! Our early childhood children get even longer recesses plus gym.
2. I love when our older students buddy up with our youngest students.
