PICTURES THIS WEEK: There are more at the bottom of the blog!

1.  Children should not have to sit at desks all day unless they want to.  At Roycemore, students work on the floor, sometimes in beanbag chairs, on ball chairs, on stools that move, or finding their own way as this young man did.

    2.  Our excellent faculty mentors many student teachers from universities all over the Chicago area.  Here  one student teacher is teaching a lesson to the pre-kindergarten children.

3. It was a beautiful week and the early childhood students loved the sandbox and water table!
4. The 4th Grade made games based on their literacy knowledge of the hero's journey!

As usual, if you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to call or e-mail me.

Some of our students enjoy sitting and working on what feels good to them.

Our early childhood students love being outside in the sand and at the water table!

The Fourth Graders created their own games based on their reading of the hero's journey.
