    The SPRING DANCE/TUMBLING SHOW, MOANA  was wonderful and also a wonderful way to see how all the divisions of the school come together to make a fabulous evening. Thank you Mrs. Wunder!

The offerings are wonderful!  This is a program that all the kids love. Some of the classes are closed, and others close to full, so sign-up soon, as June 1st is the last day to enroll. 

A REQUEST FROM THE ROYCEMORE LIBRARY Please locate and return your Roycemore library books. We would love to have an 100% return rate!

CULMINATION/SHOWCASE NIGHT, Monday, June 5:00-6:00 for Kindergarten through Grade 4.  This is the night where your children will show you their final projects and work so you can see how much they have grown this year. I have attached an invitation to the email accompanying the blog.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN AND JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN BREAKFASTS Tuesday June 6, 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Please make sure to come to these events and to see the progress your children have made this year.  I know you will be impressed.

END OF THE YEAR OUTING: SUNSET PARK, HIGHLAND PARK Wednesday, June 7 10:00-2:30 Everyone send good thoughts for good weather!

    1. The K-Kids put on an adorable end of the year Spring music performance.  Thank you Mrs. Novesky!

     2. A lovely tradition at Roycemore has been Mrs. Lisa Bretones creating and singing a class song each year with her children's classes. 
  3. The Second Grade culmination of their study of the Rain Forest was researching an animal who lives in the Rain forest, creating a book about the animal and presenting their findings to their parents and the other students in Lower School. 

AFTER-SCHOOENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
Each week I will list all the activities that we offer, but do know that sometimes, some of them will not go.  Please check them to see which ones are going that week. 

This will be the last week for all activities, except Mandarin, which will end on June 5.

Lego Club will NOT meet Monday, May 29 in the First Grade Classroom from 3:15-4:00.
Engineering will NOT meet Monday, May 29 in the 4th Grade Classroom G12 from 3:15-4:00.
Mandarin will NOT meet Monday, May 29 in the Third Grade Classroom from 3:15-4:00.
Martial Arts will meet Tuesday, May 30 in the Multi Purpose Room from 3:15-4:00.
Sprout will meet Tuesday May 30 in the LS Art Room 118 from 3:15-5:15.
Creative Improv will meet Wednesday, May 31 in the Lower School Music Room from 3:15-4:00.
Cross Country will meet Wednesday, May 31 in the MPR from 3:15-4:00.
Sprout will meet Wednesday May 31 in the LS Art Room 118 from 3:15-5:15.
Chess Club will  meet Thursday, June 1 in the 1st Grade and 4th Grade Rooms from 3:00-3:50. 
Sprout will meet Thursday, June 1 in the LS Art Room 118 from 3:15-5:15.
Fitness Fun Friday will NOT meet Friday, June 2 in the Gym from 3:15-4:00.

A REMINDER: Please remember that Roycemore Lower School is a nut/peanut-free environment.  Please remember this when you send in birthday treats and snacks for your children.  There are many other allergies, specific to individual children, so please check with your classroom teacher before sending in treats.  Thank you in advance for caring about all of our children.
